Every open feature can be bid on, in ET10. The board ranks open features by the ET10 bid on them, then by votes. Your first bid on a feature is at least 10,000 ET10 ($10 worth at $0.001 per ET10). A bid can be raised but not lowered or withdrawn. A bid is never collected: nothing is charged, locked or paid, when you bid or when the feature ships. To bid, your account must hold at least 100,000 ET10, and enough ET10 to cover all of your standing bids on open features, so the same ET10 cannot lead two features at once. No dollars are required. Dollars already raised in a feature's MicroFund count toward its rank at the same ET10 price. The board shows each feature's total and how many people bid, never who bid what. Description
TITLE
AI Marketplace — cosmetic skin toggle (enterprise / retail), same layout
DESCRIPTION
WHAT IT IS
Two visual skins on the same marketplace, chosen by a per-user switch. Enterprise reads restrained and formal; retail reads
warmer and friendlier. Nothing else changes: same layout, same wording, same numbers, same rules.
WHAT IT DOES
- Every colour, surface, border, accent, shadow and radius sits behind design tokens (CSS custom properties).
- The toggle swaps the token set only. The markup, grid, card composition, type scale and spacing are identical between
skins — byte-identical components, different variables.
- Enterprise: near-neutral background, low-chroma accents, flatter shadows, tighter contrast — a desk product.
- Retail: slightly warmer background with soft gradients, a little more saturation, a more present accent — a consumer
product.
- The choice is remembered: local storage for instant application, plus the account preference so it follows the person.
- Applied at first paint, server-side, so there is no flash of the wrong skin on load.
GUARDRAILS
- Cosmetic only. No change to layout, wording, ordering, or any number, label or rule.
- Skin is orthogonal to light/dark: skin × theme = four token maps, not four sets of components.
- Both skins must clear WCAG AA for text and muted text against their own backgrounds. A warmer retail background is
exactly where muted text quietly fails.
- Ambient background motion, if used, stays behind the content, loops slowly (20–40s), honours reduced-motion, and uses
CSS gradients and transforms rather than a shader or canvas loop.
- No new components. If a component can't be themed by tokens, the component is wrong, not the skin.
ACCEPTANCE
- A per-user switch sets the skin; it survives a reload and follows the account to another device.
- The two skins render identical markup — diffing the DOM shows only the root skin attribute and token values differ.
- No flash of the opposite skin on first paint.
- Both skins pass AA contrast on body text, muted text and accent-on-surface.
- With reduced-motion enabled, the background is static.
NOT IN SCOPE
Any layout, copy, typographic scale, spacing, ordering or behavioural change. Any change to the score, the evidence labels,
the registration rules or the 7-day windows.
