[ AUTHENTICATION ]
Three ways to authenticate with the EventTrader API. All exchange endpoints require an API key via the X-API-Key header.
1. Register + API Key (Two Calls)
Create a new account, then generate an API key.
2. API Key Bootstrap (One Call for Existing Accounts)
If you already have an account, generate tokens and an API key in a single request.
3. MCP Agent Registration (For AI Agents)
Instant API key for AI agent integrations. Returns an mcp_ prefixed key.
Using Your API Key
Include your key in the X-API-Key header on all exchange endpoints.
[ EXCHANGE TRADING API ]
Full endpoint reference for the CLOB + AMM hybrid exchange. Place orders, manage positions, and execute advanced order types.
Orders
Place a new order. Supported order_type values: limit, market, stop_limit, stop_market. Stop orders require a stop_price field; stop_market sweeps the book on trigger.
Cancel an open order by ID.
Place multiple orders in a single request (up to 10). Ideal for market makers quoting both sides.
Cancel multiple orders in a single request.
Market Data
Get the current order book with bids and asks.
Get recent trades for a symbol.
Get your trading balance for a symbol.
Advanced Orders
Place a TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) order. Splits a large order into smaller slices executed over a time window.
Place a scale order. Distributes orders across a price range with configurable size distribution.
[ MARKET MAKER GUIDE ]
Provide liquidity on the EventTrader exchange with resting limit orders. The exchange charges the standard 0.10% taker fee; makers pay nothing. No zero-fee promotion is running (live status: /api/v1/promo/status). Maker rebates are paused (see /rewards).
Fee Structure
| Fee Type | Rate | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Maker Fee | 0 bps | Free to add liquidity |
| Taker Fee | 10 bps | Standard 0.10%; live promotion state: /api/v1/promo/status |
| Maker Rebate | Paused | Paid through 5 Aug 2026; paused since (see /rewards) |
How to Provide Liquidity
Place limit orders on both sides of the spread. Maker rebates are paused. The exchange charges a 0.10% taker fee and no maker fee on exchange trades; there is no rebate or discount tier today.
Recommended Pairs
- SBIO — Vector Space Biosciences token
- VAIX — Platform governance token
- ETH — Ethereum
- BTC — Bitcoin
Batch Orders for Efficient Quoting
Use batch orders to update both sides of your quotes in a single API call. Cancel-and-replace in one round trip.
Inventory Management Tips
- Skew your quotes toward the side you want to reduce inventory on
- Widen spreads during high-volatility periods
- Use TWAP orders to unwind large positions gradually
- Monitor balance via the
/balanceendpoint between quote updates
Example: Simple Spread-Quoting Strategy

[ STOP ORDERS ]
Stop orders trigger when the last trade price crosses the stop_price, then execute as either a market sweep (stop_market) or a resting limit (stop_limit).
Stop-Market (Stop Loss / Breakout)
[ TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION ]
TOTP-based 2FA compatible with Google Authenticator, Authy, and 1Password. Once enabled, login returns a limited token that must be upgraded via /auth/2fa/verify.
Returns a TOTP secret and QR provisioning URI. Scan the URI with your authenticator app.
Confirm the first code from your authenticator to activate 2FA on the account.
Step 2 of the login flow when 2FA is active. Exchanges a limited token for a full JWT.
Disable 2FA. Requires a valid current TOTP code.
Check whether 2FA is enabled on the current account.
[ EVENT CARD TRADING ]
Event cards support bull positions (buy/sell), perpetual long/short positions, and position management — all from a single card endpoint.
Open a bull position. Set "paper": true for simulated trading.
Close a bull position fully or partially via fraction (0–1).
Open a perpetual short (or long) position. Profits when the event card index moves against the tracked direction.
Close an open perpetual position.
List all open perpetual positions for the card.
[ CLONE TOOLS & TOURNAMENTS ]
Public tools built from /duplicate requests. Every one is keyless and serves JSON under
/api/v1/clones/<name>; the /docs endpoint of each returns its full machine-readable contract (fields, formulas, refresh cadence). No API key required.
FOMO Radar /fomo-radar
Which tokens credible wallets are buying right now. Conviction is credibility-weighted on BOTH chains: Robinhood Chain (4663) from bonding-curve trade logs, Solana from per-wallet DEX swaps parsed off a public RPC (keyless). Each row carries its own conviction_kind — a Solana pool we have not indexed enough swaps for keeps the pool-level buy_pressure number and says so, and when the wallet source is down the whole Solana board degrades to buy pressure rather than invent a track record.
Keyless JSON.
Keyless JSON. Wallets ranked by their realized track record — closed round trips only, in ETH on 4663 and SOL on Solana, scored by the same formula. A wallet with no closed trade scores exactly 50 and is never qualified.
Full contract for this tool.
Memecoin Terminal /memecoin-terminal
Live memecoin screener across launchpads and DEX pools.
Full contract for this tool.
Social Pulse /social-pulse
Social attention and sentiment pulse per token.
Full contract for this tool.
Protocol Revenue /protocol-revenue
DeFi protocols ranked by fees paid and revenue kept over 24h / 7d / 30d.
Keyless JSON.
Keyless JSON.
Full contract for this tool.
Stable Pools /stable-pools
Stablecoin yield pools ranked by APY, TVL and chain.
Full contract for this tool.
Movers Tournament /events/universe/movers#tournament
Lock up to five universe symbols per round at their stored close; entries are scored on the real 7-day return a week later and ranked against the NEXUS screen. Scoreboard only — nothing moves money.
Current round, leaderboard and (when signed in) your own entries. Keyless read; auth optional.
Enter the current round. Requires a session or API key. Body: {"symbols": ["AAPL", "NVDA"]} (1–5 symbols). Unknown or unpriced symbols are rejected with a plain 422 reason.
The Potential Movers screen the tournament competes against (measured hit rates, live and backtest kept separate).
[ WITHDRAWAL ADDRESS WHITELISTING ]
Add trusted withdrawal addresses with a 24-hour cooling period. Once the first address is whitelisted, all withdrawals require whitelist — no ad-hoc destination addresses accepted.
Add an address. 24-hour cooling period before it can be used for withdrawals.
List all whitelisted addresses with their cooling status.
Remove a whitelisted address. Takes effect immediately.
[ PAPER TRADING ]
Test strategies risk-free with simulated funds. Clone any bot with paper mode enabled, or add "mode": "paper" to any order request.
Clone a Bot in Paper Mode
Clone any bot with paper trading enabled. The cloned bot uses simulated funds and produces sim- prefixed transaction hashes.
Paper trading uses the same API shape as live trading. Switch to live by removing is_paper or setting "mode": "live".
[ RATE LIMITS ]
API rate limits are enforced per API key. Check your current usage via response headers: X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset.
Two separate limit classes apply: general API requests (data, account, market reads — 100 req/min standard, 1,000 req/min premium) and order placement, which has its own higher per-tier throughput shown below. A few specialized endpoints document their own per-endpoint limits where they appear.
| Tier | Rate Limit | Description |
|---|---|---|
| STANDARD | 3,000 orders/min | Default for all new keys |
| PREMIUM | 12,000 orders/min | VIP 1+ — high-volume traders |
| MARKET_MAKER | 60,000 orders/min | DMM agreement required |
| ADMIN | 600,000 orders/min | Internal services |
Exceeding your rate limit returns HTTP 429 Too Many Requests. The X-RateLimit-Reset header indicates when your limit resets (Unix timestamp).

[ BACKTEST API ]
Run strategy backtests, browse the agent leaderboard, clone top-performing agents, and retrieve equity curves.
Run Backtest
Trigger a fresh backtest for a paper-trading bot. Requires a Bearer token. Takes no request body — the bot's own strategy, asset universe (top-10 tradable assets of its class) and a 30-day window are used. The run executes asynchronously; the response returns immediately and the refreshed results (equity curve, win rate, Sharpe, drawdown, trade count) appear on the bot's profile and the leaderboard when the run completes.
Agent Leaderboard
Get the top-performing agents ranked by ROI, win rate, and Sharpe ratio.
Clone Agent
Clone a top-performing agent's strategy to your account. The cloned agent will mirror the original's trading logic.
Equity Curve
Retrieve the equity curve data points for a specific agent's backtest or live performance.

[ SUPPLY ANALYZER API ]
A token's supply as a flow, month by month (/supply-analyzer): the sellable pile (circulating and not locked, plus staked tokens free to leave), what pours in (vesting tranches, unlocks, rewards), what is taken out (buybacks, burns),
the yearly change of the pile (yearly_pct) and one pressure number from 1 (new tokens flood the pile) to 10 (buyers squeeze it): 6 - ceil(yearly_pct / 2.5), 8-10 Squeezing, 4-7 Balanced, 1-3 Flooding.
Unknown never counts as good: an unknown outflow counts as 0, an unknown inflow as the typical token's, the answer is then a range (status=range) and the unknown input is named in unknown_names.
Every figure in inputs[] carries its source and date. Input: symbol (a Gem Screener coin by ticker, slug or CoinGecko id) or contract + chain (any token on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche).
No key; 30 requests a minute per IP (batch 6; one batch reads up to 300 tokens). The REST endpoints and the MCP tools supply_analyzer_token / supply_analyzer_batch take the same input and return the same answer.
Read-only and not financial advice: a measure of the supply, not a forecast of the price; nothing here places orders or moves funds.
| Method | Endpoint | Auth | What it returns |
|---|---|---|---|
GET | /api/v1/supply-analyzer/analyze?symbol=HYPE | none | status, yearly_pct, yearly_range, pressure, pressure_range, band, sentence, pile_today, slices_today, months[], inputs[], unknown[], disagreements[], next_unlock, dilution_week_pct |
GET | /api/v1/supply-analyzer/analyze?contract=0x…&chain=ethereum | none | The same for any token by contract address |
POST | /api/v1/supply-analyzer/batch | none | Up to 300 tokens in one call, rows in input order |
GET | /api/v1/supply-analyzer/batch/gem-screener | none | Every Gem Screener coin, one row each |
GET | /api/v1/supply-analyzer/coverage | none | How many coins have every input, and what is missing |
GET | /api/v1/supply-analyzer/definitions | none | Definitions, the pressure scale, the published inputs with links, the test, what this version does not do |
GET | /api/v1/supply-analyzer/ledger | none | The weekly record behind the open test |
WS | wss://cymetica.com/ws/supply-analyzer | none | Send {"op":"subscribe","symbol":"HYPE"} or {"op":"subscribe","contract":"0x…","chain":"ethereum"}; the record is pushed as it changes |
[ CHART ANALYZER API ]
A verdict for a chart — READY TO POP, READY TO DUMP or NO EDGE — with a calibrated probability from history (the close rises by a stated amount before it falls by a stated amount within a stated number of candles), its 95% range, the base rate and the number of past cases, in verdict; the structures drawn by rule in structures[] (support/resistance, trendlines on a log scale, channels, wedges, triangles, with touch points); the setups and indicator series in setups[] and indicators; the Weekly Signal in weekly_signal. Timeframes 1h 4h 1d 5d 1w 2w 1M auto. Plus the older number from 1 (very bearish) to 100 (very bullish) for a chart, read from its price and volume, with the chart patterns found and drawn
(/chart-analyzer). Each pattern's success rate comes from a published study on real candles with a held-out test
(GET /api/v1/chart-analyzer/study); the held-out result is published as found. No key; 30 requests a minute per IP (uploads 10, batch 6 — one batch call scores up to 300 charts).
Input (ET-28324): a contract address (+ chain when the address alone is ambiguous) identifies a token exactly, so two coins that share a ticker are never confused — its deepest DEX pool's candles are read; or a symbol (Binance USDT pairs; BTC, ETH, SOL have no contract); or your own candles. Default timeframe is 1d.
Add closed_only=true to score closed candles only (otherwise a still-forming last candle is included and last_candle_forming is true, so the number can change until it closes). Scale: 1 = the most bearish measured pattern, 50 = the base rate (the share of all study candles that rose 10 candles later), 100 = the most bullish. Every answer carries coverage.note: whether the study covers that coin and timeframe.
The REST endpoints and the MCP tools chart_analyzer_score / chart_analyzer_batch (remote endpoint https://cymetica.com/mcp/v1) take the same input and return the same answer.
Read-only and not financial advice: nothing here places orders or moves funds.
| Method | Endpoint | Auth | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/analyze?symbol=BTC&timeframe=1d | none | The tool loads a crypto USDT pair's candles itself (timeframe 1h, 4h, 1d, 5d, 1w, 2w, 1M or auto; closed_only=true for a reproducible number; include_candles=true to get the candles back). Returns the verdict (label READY TO POP | READY TO DUMP | NO EDGE, calibrated probability with its 95% range, base_rate, cases, why, target, up / down, rule, held_out_record, coverage_note, withheld), structures[], setups[], swings, indicators, weekly_signal, the older score 1-100 with band and patterns[] (name, measured direction, success_rate, train_samples, pattern_score, counted_in_score, drawing[] points to draw), coverage, identity, rule, base_rate, as_of; every field is in /openapi-public.json |
POST | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/analyze | none | Same input as the MCP tool: {"contract":"0x…","chain":"ethereum"}, {"symbol":"ETH","timeframe":"4h"}, or your own candles {"candles":[{"time":…,"open":…,"high":…,"low":…,"close":…,"volume":…}, …]} (or CSV text), 60-5000 rows, any asset |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/analyze?contract=0xdbdb4d16eda451d0503b854cf79d55697f90c8df&chain=ethereum&timeframe=1d | none | A token by contract address (ALCX here). chain: ethereum, solana, bsc, arbitrum, polygon, optimism, avalanche, sui … (/chains); omit it when the address alone identifies the coin. Adds identity (chain, address, pool, dex, symbol, name, Gem Screener match), coverage, candles_fetched_at. No DEX pool or no candles: 404 NO_CANDLES; fewer than 60 candles: 404 TOO_LITTLE_HISTORY; not fetched yet: 503 COLLECTING — never a made-up score |
POST | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/batch | none | Up to 300 charts in one call: {"timeframe":"1d","items":[{"contract":"0x…","chain":"ethereum"},{"symbol":"BTC"}]}. Rows come back in input order with status (scored, collecting, no_pool, no_candles, too_little_history, error), score, band, counted_patterns, identity, coverage. Contract candles come from a shared cache kept fresh for every Gem Screener coin; others are fetched while a 20 s budget lasts |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/batch/gem-screener?timeframe=1d | none | Every Gem Screener coin in one call, each by its contract address (native chain coins by ticker; apps without a known contract answer no_contract rather than risk a namesake) |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/gem-screener/coins | none | Gem Screener's coins with the contract (chain + address) that identifies each, and every other chain it is on |
GET | /api/v1/gem-screener/coins/{symbol} | none | Gem Screener, one coin in full. Apps carry degen_level (ET-28378): level 1-10 (how much of a casino the coin is; higher is riskier), low, high, band (blue_chip, spicy, casino) and 18 checks, each with id, area, verdict (good, caution, bad, not_checked, not_applicable), code (needs_report, not_scanned, insufficient_history, stale_data, not_applicable), value, unit, source, as_of; and report: status (none, ready, outdated), researched_at, level_at_report, outdated_reason, outdated_at. Display only. /api/v1/gem-screener/ranked carries the level and the report status only |
GET | /api/v1/gem-screener/coins/{symbol}/degen-report | none | The Degen report: eight lines, at most 150 words, with lines_as_of, the level today and the same report status |
POST | /api/v1/gem-screener/coins/{symbol}/degen-report | none | Ask for the Degen report of an app, no body. It is made when there is none, and made again when it is outdated or 7 days old; before that the cached report is returned with generated false. 6 requests per hour per address. The research reads DefiLlama's audit and hacks lists; nothing here places orders or moves funds |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/symbols | none | The 292 tickers the study measured (covered on daily); any other ticker or contract is scored with the same rates and marked not covered |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/chains | none | Chains a contract address can be read on, with accepted spellings |
POST | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/upload | none | Multipart file: CSV or JSON in the published format, up to 1 MB / 5000 rows. Errors answer 400/413 with error.code and the row at fault |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/format | none | The file format (time, open, high, low, close, volume; time as unix seconds/ms or ISO date); /format.csv is an example file |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/study | none | The study behind the number: universe, train and held-out periods, each pattern's sample size and success rate in both, the held-out score test |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/study/expert | none | The study behind the verdict (ET-29001): setups and definitions, per-timeframe targets, the split (built before 2021, calibrated 2021-2022, tested 2023 onward), base rates, each setup's train and held-out rates, calibration tables, verdict record, limits; ?timeframe=1d for one block. Page: /chart-analyzer/study |
GET | /api/v1/chart-analyzer/calls | none | The public ledger of the page's own calls: recorded when made, scored when the window ends, with the running record by verdict against the base rate (limit, status=open|scored) |
WS | wss://cymetica.com/ws/chart-analyzer | none | Send {"op":"subscribe","symbol":"BTC","timeframe":"1h"} or {"op":"subscribe","contract":"0x…","chain":"ethereum","timeframe":"1d"}; receives analysis (with candles first, then re-scored as the market moves; a contract is re-scored when its pool candles refresh) and candle pushes. No polling |
Gem Screener: Altseason panel
How close the alt market is to the zone where past altseasons ended, as on /gem-screener:
an index from 0 to 100 with one plain word, OTHERS.D and BTC.D with their trend lines, a retail score and market volume.
Every word carries a code, a label and a tone (good, caution, bad, neutral); every source carries its
as_of time and a status (ok, stale, not_available). acceptance is our own run of the back-test, published as it came out.
Codes and values are English only; null means unknown. No key; 60 requests a minute per IP.
Read-only and not financial advice: a reading of past cycles, not a forecast. Nothing here places orders or moves funds.
| Method | Endpoint | Auth | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
GET | /api/v1/gem-screener/altseason | none | The whole panel: index, phase, words, components, rules, sources, anomalies, back-test, and the weekly history from 2014-07 (weeks, series) |
GET | /api/v1/gem-screener/altseason?series=false | none | The same without the weekly history (a few kB) |
WS | wss://cymetica.com/ws/gem-screener | none | Each new audited snapshot as it is published; the panel is its altseason_cycle block |
Gem Screener: chains, themes and coin links
Chains are priced on yearly_activity_fees (fees users paid to apps on the chain, plus the chain's own fees up to the same amount)
against a named leader chain: benchmark carries name, rule, may_lead and cannot_lead with a reason code each.
A chain's activity block carries what was counted, what was left out, its source and as_of.
When benchmark.adoption_version is four-inputs-1, chains are priced on adoption instead: daily users, DEX volume, TVL and stablecoins together, with no fees in it.
A chain's adoption block carries value, the four inputs, what was counted of users and volume, the held_back shares, tvl_basis and source;
gas_token says whether the chain's own token pays its gas; benchmark carries members (the chains whose median price tag it is) and not_in_median with a reason code each.
Themes in the full snapshot are sorted by alt_sens (with alt_sens_se and tier); alpha_1m and alpha_3m are performance vs BTC beyond beta;
tags are leads, waiting, turning, falling, own_story, fund_up; hot is true or false;
attention is the Belief Networks share of people talking about the theme, with its change and status (ok, not_enough_data, not_available).
Every coin carries links: coingecko, and dextools or null with a reason (no_dex_pair, chain_not_on_dextools).
Dropped coins carry a reason code; insufficient_history carries its threshold and unit. null means unknown.
No key; 60 requests a minute per IP. Read-only and not financial advice. Nothing here places orders or moves funds.
| Method | Endpoint | Auth | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
GET | /api/v1/gem-screener/ranked?kind=chains&limit=30 | none | Chains by upside, with the leader chain and each chain's yearly activity fees |
GET | /api/v1/gem-screener/coins/{symbol} | none | One coin: links, its theme with alt_sensitivity and tags; for a chain, the full activity block |
GET | /api/v1/gem-screener | none | The whole snapshot: themes[], belief (attention and its weekly history), bench_chains with the before and after note |
