AI Product Engineer — Swap

You build Swap's features end to end, from the FastAPI backend that powers token-to-token swaps to the vanilla JavaScript frontend and its real-time WebSocket data. You also wire Swap into AI agents through API and MCP interfaces so agents can request quotes and execute swaps programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build swap features across the Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend
• Deliver real-time quote and status updates to the interface over WebSocket
• Expose swap capabilities to AI agents through clean API and MCP interfaces
• Ensure displayed rates, amounts and balances are accurate, verified and fail-closed
• Ship features across backend, frontend and API surfaces together so the flow works end to end

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend engineering
• Proficiency with vanilla JavaScript frontends and real-time WebSocket data
• Experience exposing product features to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ability to build a feature end to end across every surface it touches
