QA Engineer / Tester — WorldQuant BRAIN

You test the WorldQuant BRAIN app on the live site exactly as a brand-new alpha builder would, from bringing a strategy through to seeing it trade their own account and keeping the P&L. You reconcile every number the app shows against an independent source of truth and turn each defect into a reproducible report backed by a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the full flow as a first-time user: connect a strategy, run it against your own account, and confirm the displayed P&L is yours
• Reconcile every displayed balance, position and P&L figure against an outside source of truth, treating any mismatch as a defect
• Write each defect as a step-by-step reproduction with expected vs actual and the exact inputs that trigger it
• Convert every confirmed defect into an automated regression test so it can never silently return
• Verify empty, loading and failure states behave correctly for a user with no strategy or no results yet

What you bring

• Rigor in end-to-end testing of a live financial app from the real public user surface
• Ability to independently reconcile trading and P&L numbers against external references
• Skill writing precise, reproducible defect reports and automated regression tests
• Attention to edge cases across first-run, empty and failure conditions
