AI Product Engineer — TradingLite

You build TradingLite's features end to end, from the Python and FastAPI backend to the vanilla JavaScript frontend that streams live books and prints over WebSocket. You also wire the view into AI agents through its API and MCP so an agent can read the same live order flow a trader sees, and you keep the whole stream free and fast.

What you'll do

• Build TradingLite features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
• Stream live books, prints and prices to the browser over WebSocket in real time
• Expose the live view to AI agents through a clean API and MCP surface
• Keep the real-time path fast and accurate so the free view stays competitive with paid tools
• Ship features whole — backend, frontend and agent access together

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI skills plus confident vanilla JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with real-time WebSocket data delivery
• Familiarity with exposing product capabilities to AI agents via API and MCP
• A build-it-completely mindset that treats a feature as done only when a user and an agent can both use it
