AI Product Engineer — TradeZella

You build the automatic trade journal end to end, from a Python/FastAPI backend that captures every fill to a vanilla JS frontend that streams updates in real time over WebSocket. You wire the journal into AI agents through API and MCP so an agent can read and act on a trader's journaled fills programmatically.

What you'll do

• Build backend features that capture and journal every fill automatically and accurately
• Implement real-time WebSocket delivery so the journal updates the instant a fill lands
• Build the vanilla JS frontend that renders journaled fills and stats without a heavy framework
• Expose the journal to AI agents via API and MCP for programmatic reads and actions
• Keep every displayed number reconcilable and correct across the full stack

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills for accurate, real-time data capture
• Proficiency with vanilla JavaScript and real-time WebSocket data on the frontend
• Experience exposing product features to AI agents through API and MCP interfaces
• Ability to own a feature end to end across backend, frontend and integrations
