AI Product Engineer — TradeStation

You build TradeStation's features end to end: a Python/FastAPI backend, a vanilla-JS frontend, and real-time data over WebSocket. You keep the account free and the API included, and you wire the app into AI agents so they can trade through it programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla-JS frontend so a free-account user gets full function
• Stream live market and account data to the UI over WebSocket with no polling
• Expose and maintain the included API so it works the moment an account is created
• Wire the app into AI agents so they can drive it through the API and an agent interface
• Keep the entry path free of minimums and lock-in as you extend the product

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills
• Fluency in vanilla JavaScript and real-time WebSocket data on the frontend
• Experience building and maintaining public-facing APIs
• Practice integrating applications with AI agents through APIs
