AI Product Engineer — Trade Ideas

You build Trade Ideas end to end, from the Python and FastAPI backend that powers Tuatara Radar's scanning to the vanilla JavaScript frontend that presents it. You deliver real-time scan updates over WebSocket and expose the app to AI agents through a clean API and MCP interface.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build scanning features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
• Deliver real-time scan data to the frontend over WebSocket rather than polling
• Expose the app to AI agents through a well-documented API and MCP surface
• Keep the published methodology and its costs accurate everywhere they appear
• Ship each feature across backend, frontend and API together so it is fully usable

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills
• Fluent vanilla JavaScript and real-time WebSocket frontend development
• Experience exposing product capabilities to AI agents via API and MCP
• Habit of shipping complete, verified features rather than backend-only stubs
