AI Product Engineer — Tickertape

You build Tickertape's features end to end, from a Python/FastAPI backend that serves clean valuation metrics for Indian and global markets to a vanilla-JS, mobile-first frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data. You expose the same capabilities through the public API and wire them into AI agents so alerts and metrics are usable programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Implement valuation-metric and global-market features across a Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla-JS frontend
• Stream real-time market data to the interface over WebSockets
• Build and maintain the public API and the 1,000-free-alerts capability
• Integrate the app's data and alerts into AI agents via API and MCP

What you bring

• Proficiency with Python/FastAPI and vanilla JavaScript for mobile-first web
• Experience building real-time data delivery over WebSockets
• Ability to design and ship clean, well-documented public APIs
• Familiarity with wiring application capabilities into AI agents via API and MCP
