You build Tickerly end to end: a Python/FastAPI backend, a vanilla JavaScript frontend, and real-time data over WebSocket that turns chart alerts into automated trading actions. You also expose the capability so AI agents can drive it through an API and MCP.

What you'll do

• Build features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend
• Deliver real-time updates over WebSocket so alerts and outcomes surface instantly
• Implement reliable ingestion of chart alerts and their translation into automated actions
• Expose the automation to AI agents via a clean API and MCP interface
• Keep the standalone product and the EventTrader free feature on one shared implementation

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills with production-quality vanilla JavaScript
• Hands-on experience building real-time features over WebSocket
• Experience wiring product capabilities to AI agents through APIs and MCP
• Ability to own a feature from data ingestion through user-facing surface
