QA Engineer / Tester — StockTwits

You test StockTwits from a brand-new trader's point of view on the live site, walking every path from reading a take to acting on the order book attached to it. You reconcile every number the app shows against an independent outside source of truth, and you turn each defect into a step-by-step reproducible report and a regression test that keeps it fixed.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Run full end-to-end passes on the live site exactly as a first-time user would, take by take and order book by order book
• Reconcile every quoted price, size, and count against an independent outside reference and flag any mismatch
• Write reproducible, step-numbered defect reports with exact inputs and observed versus expected results
• Add a regression test for each confirmed defect so it cannot silently return
• Verify mobile and desktop behavior and the empty states a new user hits before any activity exists

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing live web apps end to end from a real user's perspective
• Rigor in reconciling displayed financial figures against outside sources of truth
• Skill writing clear, reproducible defect reports and automated regression tests
• Comfort reading order book and market data closely enough to spot subtle discrepancies
