AI Product Engineer — StockCharts

You build StockCharts features end to end, from a Python and FastAPI backend to a vanilla JavaScript frontend fed by real-time WebSocket streams. You deliver the live charts, server-side alerts and Radar, and expose them so AI agents can consume the same data and actions through an API and MCP.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build streaming chart, alert and Radar features across backend and frontend
• Deliver real-time data to the browser over WebSockets with a responsive vanilla JS UI
• Implement server-side alert evaluation and delivery
• Expose StockCharts data and actions to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ship each feature across every surface so it is usable by a real visitor immediately

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills for real-time data services
• Vanilla JavaScript frontend experience with live WebSocket-driven interfaces
• Experience wiring application features to AI agents through an API or MCP
• Ability to own a feature from data source through to a working public surface
