You test StockCharts on the live site as a brand-new visitor would, confirming that free live data, charts, server-side alerts and Radar all load and behave correctly. You reconcile every price, change and figure the app shows against an independent outside source, and turn each discrepancy or defect into a clear reproduction and a lasting regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the full StockCharts experience end to end on the live site with no special setup, exactly as a first-time user
• Reconcile every number the app displays against an independent market data source and flag any drift
• Verify live streaming updates, server-side alerts fire correctly, and Radar surfaces the right instruments
• Write each defect as a step-by-step reproduction with the observed versus expected values
• Convert confirmed defects into automated regression tests that guard against recurrence
