You build EventTrader's free screening app end to end, from the Python backend to the vanilla JavaScript frontend, so custom screens stay open to everyone and each one flows straight into a live order book. You keep the visuals fed by real-time data and expose the same screening and execution paths to AI agents through a clean programmatic interface.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build screening and order-book features across the Python backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend
• Stream real-time market and order-book data to the visuals over WebSocket connections
• Connect custom screens directly to execution so a result can become an order in one flow
• Expose screening and execution to AI agents through a well-documented API and agent interface
• Keep displayed figures accurate and in sync between backend, frontend, and any agent consumer

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills plus confident vanilla JavaScript on the frontend
• Experience delivering real-time data to the browser over WebSockets
• Ability to design and document APIs suitable for both humans and AI agents
• Track record shipping features end to end, from data source to user-facing screen
