AI Product Engineer — Sierra Chart

You build the Sierra Chart page on EventTrader end to end, from a Python/FastAPI backend through a vanilla JS frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data. You make the browser-native charting and free live data work without C++ studies or per-feed costs, and wire the whole thing into AI agents via the REST API and MCP.

What you'll do

• Build charting and live-data features across a FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
• Stream real-time market data to the browser over WebSocket with one initial history fetch
• Expose the product through a REST API and MCP so AI agents can drive it
• Replace C++ ACSIL study workflows with browser-native equivalents that need no per-feed setup

What you bring

• Strong Python/FastAPI and vanilla JavaScript skills
• Experience delivering real-time data to browsers over WebSocket
• Ability to design and ship clean REST APIs and wire them to AI agents via MCP
• Comfort owning a feature from backend through frontend to shipped
