AI Product Engineer — QuantRocket

You build QuantRocket features end to end, from a Python and FastAPI backend to a vanilla JavaScript frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data. You make Docker-based, self-owned strategies simple to run with zero devops and wire the whole product into AI agents through its API and MCP.

What you'll do

• Build features across a Python and FastAPI backend and a vanilla JavaScript frontend
• Deliver real-time data to the interface over WebSocket connections
• Make Docker-based strategies easy to launch, run, and keep alive with no devops for the user
• Expose the product to AI agents through a clean API and MCP integration
• Ship complete flows spanning backend, frontend, and CLI as one working feature

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI experience building production web features
• Proficiency with vanilla JavaScript and real-time WebSocket data on the frontend
• Working knowledge of Docker and command-line tooling
• Experience integrating products with AI agents via APIs and MCP
• Ability to own a feature end to end across every surface it touches
