QA Engineer / Tester — QuantRocket

You test QuantRocket end to end on the live site exactly as a brand-new user would, from first sign-in through spinning up a Docker-based strategy and driving it from the CLI. You reconcile every number the app shows against an independent source of truth and turn each defect into a clean, reproducible report backed by a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the full new-user path on the live site: onboard, launch a hosted strategy, and exercise the CLI and real-time data views
• Reconcile every figure the app displays against an outside source of truth and flag any mismatch
• Write reproducible defect reports with exact steps, inputs, and expected versus actual results
• Convert each confirmed defect into an automated regression test so it cannot silently return
• Verify empty and first-run states, mobile layouts, and the AI-agent-driven paths behave as documented

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing real-time, data-heavy web apps as an end user, not just via internal tooling
• Comfort with Docker, a command-line interface, and reading real-time streamed data
• Rigor in cross-checking displayed numbers against independent references before trusting them
• Ability to author clear, reproducible bug reports and automated regression tests
• Attention to detail across desktop and mobile and across both human and AI-agent usage
