You build EventTrader's event-book features end to end, from a Python/FastAPI backend to a vanilla JS frontend fed by real-time market data. You also make each feature usable by AI agents, exposing it cleanly so an agent can discover and trade the same event books a human can.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build features across the stack: Python/FastAPI services and a vanilla JavaScript frontend
- Stream live order books, trades and prices to the client over real-time connections
- Expose event-book capabilities to AI agents through a clean programmatic interface
- Turn designs for community-driven event markets into working, shippable flows
- Keep market data consistent and accurate as it updates in real time
What you bring
- Strong Python/FastAPI backend skills and comfort writing vanilla JS frontends
- Experience delivering real-time data to a browser and keeping it correct under load
- Ability to design programmatic interfaces an AI agent can consume
- Ownership mindset that carries a feature from idea to live and usable
