AI Product Engineer — ProRealTime
You build ProRealTime features end to end, from a Python and FastAPI backend to a vanilla JavaScript frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data for its charts. You expose the app through its documented public API and wire it into AI agents so both people and agents can drive the charting and free live data.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build charting and live-data features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
- Stream real-time chart and price updates to the frontend over WebSockets
- Design and ship the documented public API surface for the app
- Wire the app into AI agents through its API and agent tooling
- Ship free live data reliably so a new user gets working charts with no setup
What you bring
- Strong Python and FastAPI backend experience
- Vanilla JavaScript frontend skills and real-time WebSocket delivery
- Experience designing clean public APIs for external consumers
- Familiarity with connecting applications to AI agents via API and agent tooling
- Track record shipping real-time, data-driven features end to end
