AI Product Engineer — PredictIt

You build PredictIt's features end to end, from a Python/FastAPI backend through a vanilla JS frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data. You implement the logic that keeps profits, withdrawals, and position sizes free of the cuts and caps competitors impose, and you expose it cleanly so AI agents can trade through it. You ship working features, not prototypes.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build features end to end across a Python/FastAPI backend and a vanilla JS frontend
• Stream live market and position data to the client over WebSockets
• Implement profit, withdrawal, and position logic so no cut, fee, or cap creeps in
• Expose the app to AI agents through a clean API and MCP surface
• Verify each feature works on the live path a real trader and an agent would use

What you bring

• Strong Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend skills
• Experience delivering real-time data to a browser over WebSockets
• Ability to design and expose APIs that AI agents can drive via API or MCP
• Care for correctness on money-affecting logic and end-to-end ownership of features
