AI Product Engineer — Trending Graph
Builds Trending Graph end to end, from the backend that assembles the live association graph of trending assets and stories to the frontend that renders and animates it in real time. Wires the graph into AI agents so they can query trending connections programmatically alongside the human interface.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build backend endpoints that compute and serve the association graph of trending assets and stories
- Build the vanilla JS frontend that renders the graph and keeps nodes and edges in sync as trends move
- Stream live graph updates over real-time connections so the view reflects what is trending now
- Expose the graph to AI agents through a programmatic interface so they can traverse connections
- Keep the graph performant and correct as the number of hot assets, stories and links grows
What you bring
- Proficiency building Python backends and vanilla JavaScript frontends
- Experience with real-time data delivery over persistent connections
- Ability to build and expose APIs that AI agents can call and traverse
- Comfort working with graph and network data structures at interactive speed
