QA Engineer / Tester — Pinnacle API

You test the Pinnacle API end to end on the live site exactly as a brand-new user would, from free key signup through pulling event-market data. You reconcile every figure the app returns against an independent source of truth and turn each defect into a reproducible report backed by a lasting regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the full new-user path on the live site: sign up, obtain a key, and exercise every documented event-market endpoint
• Reconcile every number the API returns against an outside source of truth and flag any mismatch
• Write each defect as a step-by-step reproducible report a developer can follow
• Convert each confirmed defect into an automated regression test that guards against its return
• Re-verify fixes on the live public surface before a defect is closed

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing REST and real-time data APIs from a consumer's point of view
• Discipline to cross-check quantitative data against independent references
• Ability to write clear, reproducible defect reports and automated regression tests
• Comfort working entirely through the public product surface with no insider access
