AI Product Engineer — Photon
You build Photon features end to end — a Python and FastAPI backend, a vanilla JavaScript frontend, and real-time data pushed over WebSocket so launches land the instant they match on EventTrader. You also expose the app to AI agents through a clean API and MCP surface so agents can watch and act on launches directly.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend
- Stream launch and matching data to the client in real time over WebSocket
- Design and ship the API and MCP surface that lets AI agents use the app
- Ensure every displayed figure is backed by verified data, never fabricated
- Own each feature from first commit through live behavior in front of users
What you bring
- Strong Python and FastAPI skills plus confident vanilla JavaScript on the frontend
- Hands-on experience with real-time WebSocket data delivery
- Experience wiring applications to AI agents via API and MCP tooling
- Ability to own a feature end to end and verify it works on the live surface
