AI Product Engineer — NinjaTrader

Builds the features of EventTrader's free, browser-native alternative end to end, from a Python/FastAPI backend to a vanilla JavaScript frontend with real-time data over WebSocket. Wires the same capabilities into AI agents through the public API and MCP so an agent can use the product as fluently as a person.

What you'll do

• Implement backend features in Python/FastAPI that power the browser experience
• Build vanilla JavaScript frontend views with real-time WebSocket updates
• Expose and maintain the public API that both the UI and AI agents consume
• Wire product capabilities into AI agents via API and MCP
• Ship each feature across backend, frontend and API together

What you bring

• Strong Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend skills
• Experience delivering real-time data over WebSocket
• Experience designing and building public APIs
• Familiarity connecting products to AI agents via API/MCP
