QA Engineer / Tester — market-data APIs

You test the free signal and market API end to end on the live site, moving through it exactly as a brand-new user would from account to first data call. You treat every number the API returns as a claim to be checked, reconciling each value against an independent outside source of truth. Every defect you find becomes a clearly reproducible report and a lasting regression test.

What you'll do

• Walk the full new-user path on the live site, from account creation to a working signal and market data call
• Reconcile every price, signal and figure the API returns against an independent external source of truth
• Turn each defect into a step-by-step reproducible report with exact inputs, expected value and observed value
• Write regression tests that lock in each fix so the same defect cannot silently return
• Verify empty results, bad inputs and rate-limit responses behave predictably for a first-time caller

What you bring

• Rigor in reconciling numeric data against outside references and spotting even small discrepancies
• Experience testing REST and real-time data APIs from a genuine end-user starting point
• Ability to write precise, reproducible bug reports and automated regression tests
• Comfort reading API responses and comparing them against documented expected behavior
