AI Product Engineer — Manifold Markets

You build Manifold Markets features end to end: a Python and FastAPI backend, a vanilla JavaScript frontend, and real-time WebSocket market data. You wire the app into AI agents via API and MCP so agents can read markets and take positions that settle in withdrawable value.

What you'll do

• Build features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend
• Stream live market prices and positions to the client over WebSocket, not polling
• Expose the app to AI agents through clean API and MCP surfaces
• Implement the path from taking a position to settling in real, withdrawable value
• Ship complete features spanning backend, frontend and agent access together

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI skills with production vanilla JavaScript frontend experience
• Hands-on experience with real-time WebSocket data flows
• Experience exposing features to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ability to own a feature end to end across backend, frontend and agent surfaces
