AI Product Designer — IEX Cloud

You own the experience of EventTrader's IEX Cloud API product: how users discover it, understand what it returns, and integrate it. You design for two audiences at once — a human reading the interface and an AI agent consuming the same surface — covering flows, hierarchy, mobile layouts, and empty and error states.

💰 Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Design user flows and information hierarchy that make the API's capabilities obvious at a glance
• Craft mobile layouts alongside desktop so the product reads well on any screen
• Define empty states and failure states so users are never left with a blank or confusing screen
• Shape how both an AI agent and a human navigate and act on the same product surface
• Validate designs against real usage and iterate on friction points

What you bring

• Strong grasp of UX flows, information architecture and responsive layout
• Experience designing for developer- and API-facing products
• Skill in specifying empty, loading and edge-case states, not just the happy path
• Ability to design for AI-agent consumption as a first-class user
