AI Product Engineer — Tradable Headline
You build Tradable Headline end to end: the Python/FastAPI backend that ingests and serves breaking headlines, the vanilla JS frontend, and the real-time WebSocket layer that streams press releases, billion-dollar M&A deals and global events as they break. You also wire the one-click Event Card creation into AI agents via API and MCP.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build backend services in Python/FastAPI that ingest and serve the live headline wire
- Build the vanilla JS frontend and the real-time WebSocket streaming for breaking headlines
- Implement one-click Event Card creation across backend and frontend
- Expose the wire and Event Card creation to AI agents through API and MCP
- Ensure the feed stays real-time, ordered and reliable as volume spikes on major events
What you bring
- Strong Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend engineering
- Experience with real-time WebSocket data delivery at scale
- Ability to design and ship APIs and MCP integrations for AI agents
- Track record shipping features end to end across backend, frontend and real-time layers
