AI Product Engineer — GoCharting

You build GoCharting features end to end, from a Python and FastAPI backend to a vanilla JS frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data. You ship the charting, live-data, alerts and Radar surfaces, and you wire the app into AI agents through a clean API and MCP interface.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build backend endpoints and services in Python and FastAPI powering charts, live data, alerts and Radar
• Implement the vanilla JS frontend and stream live market updates over WebSockets
• Deliver the 1,000-alert capability and Radar with its attached markets across backend and frontend together
• Expose the app to AI agents through a well-shaped API and MCP interface
• Verify each feature works end to end on the live experience before it is considered done

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills plus hands-on vanilla JS frontend work
• Experience building real-time features with WebSocket data streams
• Ability to design clean APIs and MCP interfaces for AI-agent consumption
• Track record shipping full features across backend and frontend, not just one layer
