AI Product Engineer — FundingTicks

You build FundingTicks features end to end, from a Python/FastAPI backend through a vanilla JavaScript frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data. You wire the challenge-account product into AI agents over an API and MCP so both humans and agents can drive it, keeping the promise that an account can't be discontinued.

What you'll do

• Build challenge-account features across FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
• Stream ticks and account state to the frontend over real-time WebSocket connections
• Expose the product to AI agents through a clean API and MCP surface
• Implement the guarantees that keep a trader's account from being discontinued
• Ship each feature complete across backend, frontend and agent interfaces in one pass

What you bring

• Strong Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend skills
• Experience building real-time features with WebSockets
• Experience exposing product capability to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ability to deliver a feature end to end across every surface it touches
