QA Engineer / Tester — Tradable Headline

You test Tradable Headline end to end on the live site exactly as a brand-new user would, from landing on the headline wire to creating an Event Card in one click. You reconcile every headline, deal value and timestamp the app shows against an outside source of truth, and turn each defect into a reproducible report and a lasting regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the full public flow live: load the wire, watch headlines break in real time, and create an Event Card in one click
• Reconcile every shown number, deal value and timestamp against independent outside sources
• Verify empty, loading and error states, and that new headlines stream in without stale or duplicated entries
• File each defect as a step-by-step reproducible report with exact inputs and expected versus actual results
• Convert every confirmed defect into an automated regression test that guards the fix

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing live real-time web apps as an end user, not just in staging
• Rigor in reconciling displayed data against external ground truth and spotting off-by-one or timing errors
• Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports and automated regression tests
• Comfort with real-time data streams and verifying they update correctly under live conditions
