AI Product Engineer — Finviz
You build the Finviz screener end to end for EventTrader: a Python and FastAPI backend, a vanilla JavaScript frontend and live WebSocket market data. You ship advanced filters, alerts and Tuatara Radar, and expose the screener to AI agents through a clean API and MCP interface.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Build screener filters, real-time quotes, alerts and Tuatara Radar across backend and frontend
- Stream live market data to the frontend over WebSocket with tight, accurate updates
- Implement the free alerting so a user's saved conditions fire reliably
- Expose screener data and actions to AI agents via API and MCP
- Ensure displayed numbers stay correct and consistent from data source through to the UI
What you bring
- Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills with vanilla JavaScript frontend experience
- Hands-on experience with real-time WebSocket data delivery
- Experience building APIs and MCP interfaces consumed by AI agents
- Care for numeric accuracy across real-time financial data pipelines
