AI Product Engineer — Edgewonk

You build the self-writing trade journal end to end, turning real fills into journal entries and analytics with no manual import. You work across a Python and FastAPI backend, a vanilla JavaScript frontend, and real-time WebSocket data, and you wire the journal into AI agents so they can read and act on it programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build features that capture real fills and write journal entries and statistics automatically
• Develop the FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend for the journal experience
• Stream trade and analytics updates to the UI in real time over WebSockets
• Expose the journal to AI agents through a clean API and agent-facing interface
• Ship each feature across backend, frontend, and data so a trader can use it end to end

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills plus practical vanilla JavaScript
• Experience building real-time data experiences with WebSockets
• Ability to design and expose APIs that AI agents can consume reliably
• Comfort owning a feature end to end across backend, frontend, and data
