AI Product Engineer — Event Cards

Builds Event Cards end to end: the Python/FastAPI backend that assembles and prices AI-curated basket indices, the vanilla JS frontend for the swipe-to-trade experience, and the real-time WebSocket data that keeps baskets and prices live. Wires the app into AI agents so they can browse and trade baskets through an API and MCP surface.

What you'll do

• Build and ship features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
• Implement real-time WebSocket delivery of basket composition, prices and trades
• Expose Event Cards to AI agents through a clean API and MCP interface
• Turn news-driven basket-index logic into reliable, fail-closed trade paths
• Verify each feature works on the live app for a brand-new user, not just in tests

What you bring

• Strong Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend skills
• Experience with real-time WebSocket data for financial or trading apps
• Ability to design and expose APIs and MCP tooling for AI-agent use
• Care for correctness and fail-closed behavior on money and market data
