QA Engineer / Tester — DefiLlama

You test the DefiLlama app on the live site as a brand-new user would, walking the full path from a DeFi thesis to a capped-risk position on EventTrader. You reconcile every TVL figure, rank and metric the scoreboard shows against an independent source of truth, and turn each defect into a reproducible report and a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the neutral scoreboard end to end on the live site as a first-time user, confirming the research-only view and the hand-off into capped-risk EventTrader positions both work
• Reconcile every displayed number — TVL, rankings, and any figure carrying known TVL lag — against an outside source of truth and flag mismatches
• Write each defect as a reproducible report with exact steps, expected versus actual, and evidence
• Convert confirmed defects into automated regression tests so they cannot silently return
• Test mobile and desktop layouts plus empty and unreadable-data states

What you bring

• Hands-on experience testing live web apps end to end from a genuine new-user perspective
• Rigor in reconciling financial or market numbers against independent references and quantifying lag
• Ability to author clear reproducible bug reports and automated regression tests
• Understanding of DeFi metrics such as TVL and how scoreboard rankings are derived
