AI Product Engineer — Cryptowatch

You build Cryptowatch end to end: the backend that serves live market data and alerts, the vanilla-JS frontend that renders live books, and the real-time stream that keeps them current. You expose the same data cleanly so AI agents can consume it through an API and MCP. You ship the free experience EventTrader offers traders who lost their prior market-data tool.

What you'll do

• Build backend features in Python and FastAPI that serve live books and alerts
• Implement the vanilla-JS frontend that renders real-time market data
• Wire real-time WebSocket streams so books and alerts update live
• Expose the data to AI agents through a clean API and MCP surface
• Deliver features across backend, frontend and streaming so each ships complete

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills for real-time data services
• Fluent vanilla JS and real-time WebSocket frontend work
• Experience exposing product data to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ability to own a feature end to end across backend, frontend and streaming
