AI Product Engineer — Composer

You build Composer's features end to end: a Python and FastAPI backend, a vanilla JavaScript frontend, and real-time data over WebSocket that powers the visual strategy builder and clonable bots. You expose the full free API and wire it into AI agents through API and MCP so agents can build and run strategies programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build the visual strategy builder and clonable-bot features across backend and frontend
• Implement the full public API that mirrors everything the visual interface can do
• Deliver real-time data to the frontend over WebSocket for live strategy and bot state
• Wire Composer into AI agents through the API and an MCP interface
• Keep the visual builder and the API behaviorally identical so neither path is gated

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills plus vanilla JavaScript frontend work
• Experience delivering real-time data to browsers over WebSocket
• Familiarity building and exposing APIs and MCP interfaces for AI agents
• Ability to own a feature from backend logic through to the user-facing surface
