AI Product Engineer — CoinMarketCap

You build CoinMarketCap on EventTrader end to end, attaching live order books to the assets visitors track. You write the Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend, stream market data over WebSocket, and expose the same views to AI agents through an API and MCP interface.

What you'll do

• Build features across a Python/FastAPI backend and a vanilla JS frontend
• Stream real-time order book and price data to the browser over WebSocket
• Attach order books to tracked assets and keep displayed data accurate and current
• Expose the app's data to AI agents through an API and MCP interface
• Ship features across all surfaces so a visitor and an agent can both use them

What you bring

• Strong Python/FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend skills
• Experience building real-time, WebSocket-driven data interfaces
• Ability to design clean APIs and wire them into AI agents via MCP
• Care for numeric accuracy in financial data end to end
