AI Product Engineer — Coinigy

You build the Coinigy page and its underlying features on EventTrader end to end, from a Python and FastAPI backend to a vanilla JavaScript frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data. You wire the same capabilities into AI agents through an API and MCP so an agent can trade the one venue without keys to hold.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build page features end to end across a FastAPI backend and vanilla JavaScript frontend
• Stream live market data to the frontend over WebSockets with one source of truth
• Expose the venue's capabilities to AI agents via a clean API and MCP
• Implement the no-keys trading path so a user or agent can act directly on the one venue
• Ship fixes and features that hold up under real-time load and QA scrutiny

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI skills plus practical vanilla JavaScript frontend work
• Experience delivering real-time data to a browser over WebSockets
• Ability to design and expose an API and MCP surface for AI agents
• Comfort owning a feature from backend through frontend to a working live path
