AI Product Engineer — Loop Yield

You build Loop Yield end to end: a Python/FastAPI backend that computes net APY after borrow cost and gas, liquidation distance, and live pool APYs, plus a vanilla JS frontend fed by real-time WebSocket data. You also expose these calculations to AI agents over API and MCP so automated strategies can read the same live numbers.

What you'll do

• Build backend services that compute net APY, borrow cost, gas, liquidation distance, and live pool APYs
• Stream live pool and position data to the frontend over real-time WebSocket connections
• Implement a fast vanilla JS interface that renders the loop's numbers without lag or double updates
• Wire Loop Yield's data and actions into AI agents via API and MCP endpoints
• Keep every displayed value backed by a real, verifiable source and fail closed on bad data

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI plus real-time WebSocket experience
• Solid vanilla JS frontend skills for live financial data
• Understanding of leveraged staking, borrow rates, gas, and liquidation mechanics
• Experience exposing services to AI agents through API and MCP
