AI Product Engineer — ChartMill

You build ChartMill end to end: the Python and FastAPI backend that runs metered screens and debits credits, the vanilla JS frontend that renders results, and the real-time WebSocket feeds that keep screens and alerts live. You expose the screening capability through API and MCP so AI agents can run it too.

What you'll do

• Build screening and alert features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
• Implement the credit metering so each screen accurately debits and reflects the user's balance
• Stream live screening and alert updates to the client over WebSockets
• Expose ChartMill's screening through API and MCP so AI agents can run screens and read results
• Ship each feature across backend, frontend, and agent surfaces together so the metered path works everywhere

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills plus vanilla JS frontend experience
• Experience building real-time WebSocket data flows
• Familiarity with exposing capabilities via API and MCP for AI agents
• Comfort implementing usage metering and credit accounting correctly
