AI Product Engineer — Chartlog

You build Chartlog features end to end, from a Python and FastAPI backend through a vanilla JavaScript frontend that renders trade history and a live equity curve. You wire the app into AI agents so they can read and act on trade data via API and MCP.

What you'll do

• Build trade-history and equity-curve features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
• Stream real-time trade and equity updates to the interface over WebSocket
• Expose Chartlog data to AI agents through API and MCP endpoints
• Ship the Lite and paid-tier feature gates and keep the free EventTrader view consistent

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills with vanilla JavaScript frontend experience
• Experience building real-time WebSocket data flows
• Familiarity exposing product features to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ability to deliver a feature across backend, frontend, and data surfaces together
