Owns the UX of Bookmap's order-flow heatmap, shaping how traders read live order books, depth and prints at a glance. Designs the user flows, information hierarchy, mobile layouts, and empty and error states so both a human and an AI agent can consume the same streaming data effectively.

💰 Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Design the heatmap's information hierarchy so depth, order books and prints are instantly legible under fast updates
• Craft user flows from first arrival to actively reading live streaming order flow
• Design responsive mobile layouts that keep the heatmap and depth usable on small screens
• Define empty, loading and error states for moments before or between WebSocket data
• Shape how an AI agent and a human each interact with the same live order-flow surface

What you bring

• Strong UX and interaction design skills for real-time, information-dense interfaces
• Fluency in information hierarchy and responsive mobile layout
• Understanding of order books, depth heatmaps and time-and-sales prints
• Experience designing for both human users and AI-agent consumption of the same data
• Ability to design clear empty and error states for streaming data
