AI Product Engineer — Benzinga Pro
You build Benzinga Pro end to end, from the Python and FastAPI backend to the vanilla JS frontend that streams live data and the news-heat Radar over real-time WebSockets. You also expose the app to AI agents through API and MCP so both people and agents can trade on the same live signals.

What you'll do
- Build features across the FastAPI backend and vanilla JS frontend
- Stream live market data and the news-heat Radar to clients over WebSockets
- Wire the app into AI agents through clean API and MCP interfaces
- Keep the free live-data path fast, accurate and resilient under load
- Ship full-surface features so backend, frontend and agent access land together
What you bring
- Strong Python and FastAPI backend skills plus practical vanilla JS
- Experience with real-time WebSocket data delivery
- Ability to design APIs and MCP interfaces for AI-agent consumption
- Care for numeric correctness on a live financial surface
