AI Product Designer — Alpaca
You own the experience of Alpaca, the app that streams live market data free where others delay it or charge. You design the user flows, information hierarchy and mobile layouts, and shape empty and defect states so both a human trader and an AI agent can consume the same live data cleanly.

💰 Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Design the primary user flows and information hierarchy for viewing live, free streaming market data
- Craft responsive mobile layouts that keep continuously updating data legible
- Define empty, loading and reconnecting states so live streams degrade gracefully
- Shape how an AI agent and a human both discover and consume the same data surface
- Turn usage insights into iterative UX improvements to the live data view
What you bring
- Strong product design portfolio covering real-time or data-dense consumer interfaces
- Fluency in information hierarchy and responsive mobile layout for streaming data
- Experience designing for both human users and programmatic or agent consumers
- Ability to translate user behavior into concrete design iterations
