AI Product Engineer — Alertatron

You build Alertatron end to end: the Python and FastAPI backend that ingests alerts and relays them to crypto exchanges for execution, and the vanilla JavaScript frontend with real-time WebSocket updates on alert and execution status. You also wire the product into AI agents through its API and MCP so agents can drive alert relaying programmatically.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build backend features in Python and FastAPI that receive alerts and relay them to crypto exchanges for execution
• Build the vanilla JavaScript frontend with real-time WebSocket updates for alert and execution status
• Expose the alert-relay and execution capabilities through an API and MCP for AI agents to use
• Handle the connected-exchange lifecycle, alert delivery, and execution results across the full stack
• Ship each feature across backend, frontend, and API together so the flow works for a real user

What you bring

• Strong Python and FastAPI backend experience
• Vanilla JavaScript frontend skills including real-time WebSocket data
• Experience integrating with crypto exchange APIs and handling order execution
• Familiarity with exposing capabilities to AI agents via API and MCP
• Ability to own a feature end to end across backend, frontend, and API
