AI Product Engineer — BitMEX (winding down)

You build the BitMEX winding-down landing page end to end, from a Python and FastAPI backend to a vanilla JavaScript frontend, keeping the 2026 countdown and custody-fee information live and accurate. You deliver real-time updates over WebSocket and expose the page's data so AI agents can consume it through an API and MCP interface.

💰 Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Build backend endpoints that serve the countdown, shutdown timeline and custody-fee data accurately
• Implement the vanilla JavaScript frontend so the countdown and copy update in real time
• Stream live updates to the page over WebSocket rather than repeated polling
• Expose the page's data to AI agents through a clean API and MCP interface
• Ship features across backend and frontend together so every visible surface stays in sync
