QA Engineer / Tester — Documentation

You test the EventTrader platform guide and docs end to end on the live site, moving through it exactly as a brand-new user would to confirm every page, link and example works. You reconcile any number or figure the docs show against an outside source of truth, and turn each defect into a reproducible report and a regression test.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK

What you'll do

• Walk the live guide as a first-time user, verifying every page, navigation path, code sample and screenshot renders and behaves as documented
• Reconcile every figure and claim in the docs against an authoritative source, flagging anything stale or inconsistent
• Write clear, reproducible defect reports with exact steps, expected vs actual, and evidence
• Convert each confirmed defect into a regression test that guards the guide against the same failure returning
• Verify mobile and desktop layouts, empty states and error states of the docs behave correctly

What you bring

• Rigorous end-to-end manual testing skill and an eye for detail on live web apps
• Ability to cross-check documented numbers and statements against independent sources
• Experience writing reproducible bug reports and automated regression tests
• Comfort testing responsive layouts across mobile and desktop
