AI Product Engineer — Rally Card Backtester
You build Rally Card Backtester end to end: the Python and FastAPI backend that runs theme and ticker-list backtests, the vanilla JS frontend that shows BTC racing each strategy live, and the launch of a winning strategy as a card. You also expose the tool to AI agents so they can run backtests and read results programmatically.

What you'll do
- Build backtest execution over themes and user-supplied ticker lists in the Python and FastAPI backend
- Implement the vanilla JS frontend that streams the live BTC-versus-strategy race
- Wire real-time result and ranking updates over WebSocket connections
- Ship the flow that launches a winning strategy as a card
- Expose backtest and result capabilities to AI agents through a clean API and MCP interface
What you bring
- Strong Python and FastAPI backend experience
- Proficiency with vanilla JavaScript and real-time WebSocket data on the frontend
- Experience building APIs and MCP interfaces for AI-agent consumption
- Ability to deliver a feature across backend, frontend, and real-time layers in one pass
