QA Engineer / Tester — Rally Card Backtester
You test Rally Card Backtester end to end on the live site exactly as a brand-new user would, running backtests by theme and by ticker list and watching the live BTC race against each strategy. You reconcile every number the app shows against an independent source of truth and turn each defect into a reproducible report plus a regression test that keeps it fixed.

💰 Salary: $85,000 – $135,000 USD / year · Remote OK
What you'll do
- Walk the full flow as a new user: pick a theme or enter a ticker list, run the backtest, watch the live BTC race, and launch the winner as a card
- Reconcile every displayed figure — returns, rankings, the live BTC comparison — against an outside reference and flag any mismatch
- Write each defect as a step-by-step reproduction with expected versus actual results
- Turn confirmed defects into automated regression tests so they cannot silently return
- Verify empty, loading, and failure states across desktop and mobile
What you bring
- Hands-on experience testing live web apps end to end from a real user's point of view
- Rigor in reconciling numeric and time-series output against independent references
- Ability to write clear, reproducible defect reports and automated regression tests
- Comfort validating real-time streaming data and comparative charts
